If you are interested in meeting fellow travellers in Europe in 2019, ELAI has compiled for you a list of conferences and academic gatherings of less formal type devoted to liberal education, in one sense or the other. This list would be updated if more relevant events are announced in due course. The list does not distinguish between ‘student’ and ‘adults’ events, as the boundaries are at times porous, but we have tried our best to provide enough information for you to decide if you want to know more - you know where to click.

|ELACT 2019||2019/10/17-19||University of Navarra (Pamplona, Spain)||III European Liberal Arts and Core Texts Education Conference is titled: Caring for Souls: Can Core Texts Educate Character? This bi-annual conference engages with Core Texts and Great Books perspectives on liberal education discussed between European and US participants. A volume from the first conference was published, and ELAI published a short post after the second edition in Winchester.|
